Cute Property - might stay again, depends..
I recently stayed at this studio apartment for a concert at the Delta Center, just a couple of blocks away. However, the overall experience was mixed.
The check-in process was unusual and a bit cumbersome. After booking, I was instructed to call the owner upon arrival. We had to wait outside of the building for ~15 minutes for her to answer the phone. She then talked me through the process over the phone, granting remote access to the locked building. Once inside, I received a 4-digit code to unlock the apartment. While I appreciate the security, this method felt impersonal and added stress to the arrival.
Parking was an unexpected $10 per day, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. With the industrial surroundings offering little to no street parking, we had no choice but to pay for it, which was frustrating and impacted our budget.
The shower’s water pressure left much to be desired—finding the right temperature was a struggle, as it would swing between too hot and too cold with the slightest adjustment. The bed was very soft, which wasn’t great for my back, and the small couch wasn’t comfortable for lounging or sleeping.
On the plus side, the apartment was clean and well-equipped with a washer and dryer, basic cooking utensils, and complimentary tea and coffee. The facility had several lounges and entertainment options, which were nice.
Overall, while the location is fantastic, the quirky check-in process and comfort issues made my stay just okay.
