Wonderful Stay
We loved this property - everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies we needed to cook while on vacation. The owners were very nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Loved this sweet place! Can see the lake from the deck. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. The decor and furnishings very pointed and perfect. Will return to this great place and hosts were very helpful and kind.

Family reunion!
We stayed at Lake Santeetlah for a little over a week to attend a family reunion. Little Bear Cottage was perfect for our 2 adults and 2 kids family. Communication was easy and the cottage was clean. If we weren't there to visit family with lake access, I do think we would have preferred a rental in the lake. Also, we didn't need to really do any cooking but if we had needed to we felt like the kitchen could have been better stocked with pots/pans, etc. It also would have been amazing to have a washer and dryer especially seeing that there was already a hook up. Our only complaints were that walls were very thin and bedroom barn doors did not stay closed. Pretty sure the cottage had a downward slant. It was ok for our family but would not work for others needing more privacy. We were also sad to see the tub didn't have a stopper to allow our small children to easily take baths. These were small inconveniences for us and we did not contact the property owner about them during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning some day.

A Gem in the Mountains!
This cottage was thoroughly modern in both style and technology. It was a comfortable retreat after a day of driving and sightseeing. Amazing roads and sights in any direction!
