New owners, Craig and Jean are very hospitable and served us delicious home cooked breakfasts. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Great views from windows to the peaceful lake, surrounding trees, etc..
It was an absolute amazing place. If you get a chance please go and stay there. It’s quite, lovely, and view is breath taking. It’s only 40 min from Portland Maine.
Owner Ellen and Jim is just amazing people. They go up and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast was amazing and delicious.
Go just for the view if you can. It worth it. I promise!!
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The Pleasant Lake B&B is a beautifully kept period home with gracious hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We very much enjoyed our long weekend in Casco. Jim and Ellen were excellent hosts. We stayed in the cottage and we learned that breakfast is not included there because it has a full kitchen. No problem, there are nearby places to eat or buy groceries. The cottage is clean and comfortable, although the master bed is a bit small (full size, not queen size). There are places to sit outside and just relax. Portland is about an hour away by car. Our first night we took in a concert there. The lake is beautiful and there are lots of other waterways nearby. We had a nice kayak up the Crooked River and Jim drove us around the lake in his pontoon boat. All in all a great place to stay!
