Beautiful view great property only complaint if any is resort was doingva remodel of grounds duringvare stay i did not know this at time of booking and did not notify us of this not a big deal did not effect are stay other then one less place to eat will be great once done oir ac did not work well they where great and quick about trying to fix it had slight improvement after service person came twice but still did not work as well as we would liked but with tjat said i would definitely stay agian staff is amazing

No access to the beach for two days! Staff amazing ! Did not receive the online amenities and adventures because they were not there! My son came to Cilla Del Palmar in July2025 I was booking through false advertisement didn’t get to enjoy Italian foods, which my son enjoyed didn’t have any pizza because there was none ! No waterfall jacuzzi which was suppose to be the main event ! Instead we struggled to get lounge chairs by the pool area because it was so crowded because of the construction . I understand getting a renovation would include all these negatives but I was never told I would be missing out on so much ! Very frustrating ! On the other hand I have to give a Big Shout out to Ismael, Carlos, Jorge and Keren. They made my stay tolerable. Even though we went in with all inclusive and laid that, it was not worth it I will have to wait until all renovations are done before even booking my next stay . We might just have to go to another place where I will call in advance and make sure that what they advertise is what I will be getting !

There was heavy construction at the property so only one pool and 2 restaurants were available. I had asked the concierge before the trip if the construction is still going on so I can cancel the trip but she said it’s all done. Lots of noise from the construction. I contacted Expedia, they initially offered a credit to my account but they ignored my subsequent emails. Apart from this, the food was great, and staff were very friendly.

Would have love to know the pools weren’t all open

The resort was under construction and we weren’t aware. Only limited dining and half the pools were closed. Plus no beach access. Construction went on most of the day and until 11:00 each night.

We had booked at Villa Del Palmar, which was closed for renovation, which we were not informed of until arrival. We were moved to their sister property, Villa Del Arco. Villa del Arco is a beautiful resort but is limited in both activities and entertainment-especially after 8pm once the pool closes. The entertainment, activities, and overall atmosphere was why we had originally booked Villa del Palmar. There is absolutely no entertainment on the del Arco property after the pool closes other than restaurants, which also close during inclement weather. The staff that provide service (bartenders, servers, housekeeping, maintenance) were all WONDERFUL. Every interaction we had with staff in the main lobby, those who would be considered "customer service" were rude, condescending, and offered no help. This was the general consensus voiced among most of the guests of the resort. Villa del Arco is a beautiful resort with great food and little to no entertainment. If that is what you're looking for-this is the place for you!!

Nice resort but parts under construction and loud

The all inclusive treatment with waiting for bills and signing is pretty confusing. I felt many times it was inconvenient. The main breakfast venue was nice but wait times varied significantly whether 8/9/10 am. Surprisingly the best food was at the sport bar and the fine dining at the Italian option was lackluster with quality of food. I would never justify paying full price for the dining options or alcohol there except the view was nice. Flies landing on your food also not helpful. What was frustrating is that the resort had parts under construction / repair in the jacuzzi area where there is a little bridge and there are hard wires sticking out because the bridge is in bad shape. For children swimming under, they would get close to the metal rods sticking out and is clearly a hazard no one cares about. The staff is very nice and service was good otherwise. The concierge will also surprise you with extra taxes and fees when checking out. Apparently taxes for wifi are a thing.

We didnt even get to stay at the Del Palmar. When we arrived, we were informed that we had been moved to the Del Arco as Del Palmar was under renovation. We were not informed of the change and our request (booking)for our second room with two beds was not fullfilled. The checkin staff was not helpful and the manager Reay shrugged us off. We asked to maybe find two rooms near eachother as we had our kids with us, opposite sex. We ended up on different floors and the managment didnt care. They wanted another $750 to change our current situation. Second time we have had problems with the Villa Group
