Property was ok. The restaurants were decent but not great. No reservations needed for dinner but that caused issues as we were only able to get into 2 sit down restaurants and the other 3 nights we ate at the buffet which is the same every night. Pool was dirty and need to be drained and cleaned well. For a Riu palace property it definitely fell short.

The staff at the online registration desk needs to be better informed. I was told that there was a Gray Line rep on site there amongst all the other travel companies. Another hotel staff member then told me that they don't have one on site because they don't do much business there to warrant an on site desk. At the time I had a serious shuttle issue.

The property definitely needs some updating. The rooms were pretty old. The food was okay. A lot of the restaurants on the property are close until dinner which is disappointing since the evening time is when most go out on the town. Unfortunately i dont think ill be going to any RIU resorts. The staff was nice though.
