"The only inconveniences, and they were minor: the sockets were too loose for charger bricks, and there could be a stool or something next to the door to sit to put on shoes. Pluses were huge: nice, big, clean room, with microwave, fridge, big tv, good coffee, bathtub. Great view from the porch. Free coffee and grab and go breakfast. Ample parking and walkable to town. Everything was super clean. Service was excellent. The Devlin/Olympics story makes it charming and unique. Great place to stay at Lake Placid."

"This place is in a perfect location. 5-10 min walk to everywhere in town. Its very clean and they have a fantastic cozy restaurant with a huge stone fireplace with a great view of the mountains. The bar in the restaurant is also a great place for apres ski, or pre-dinner cocktails before walking into town. The pool and hot tub are very clean, and there's a lot of room to lounge around in the pool area with couches and tables for dining or socializing. I plan to stay here from now on when I return. Highly recommended place."

"We were in Lake Placid for the World Championships for Bobsled and Skeleton. We arrived in foggy and rainy conditions and had an issue with slippery conditions. The staff was excellent in attending to our concerns. The rooms were immaculate and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was big and had everything we needed. I particularly liked the radiator being right under the towel bar so I could have a warm towel after a shower. The rooms have their own thermostats so you can control each room’s temp. There’s a small refridge in each room and a bottle of Saratoga water. They offer a breakfast basket delivered to your door which is filled with little pastries, yogurt, jams, hard boiled eggs, oranges and some other goodies. Hot coffee was delivered in a big thermos. It exceeded my expectations. I think we could have gone to the reception area for breakfast, also. The reception room, where we checked in, was very welcoming, especially after a long travel day. There was a fire going and I just wanted to plop down in one of the big chairs and zonk out. I was very impressed by the attention to detail with the whole experience. Carolina and Patrick on the staff were particularly helpful. I didn’t realize the rooms had no tvs til we got there, but we didn’t miss them at all. I highly recommend staying here."
