Good location, right around the corner from the main street. My room was clean and comfortable, also had a partial view of the lake which was nice. Stayed here only 2 nights to hike Mount Marcy which is only about a 15-20 minute drive to the Adirondack Loj, where the Van Hoevenberg trailhead begins

This stay was average. They have completed some fairly nice updates to the interior of the hotel, but you can tell it's very dated. They don't keep hotel staff on overnight, but rather give you a phone number to call in case of emergencies. The room itself was clean, but the exterior was dirty, the windows filthy, and it was crawling with spiders. Some attention is needed out there. The price is lower than other Lake Placid hotels, so I expected this type of place. May be back...we'll see!

You did a great job remodeling the lobby. It doesn’t even look like it’s used. Not sure the bar is open. The room was clean. The bathroom is very modern but what’s up with the end tables next to the bed that are 2 feet lower than the bed and zero furniture in the room, the only place to sit is on the bed Seems odd ….

We were there for a Lacrosse tournament. Great room. Beautiful hotel. Walking distance of main strip. Only issue is parking can be difficult to find if lot is full.

Bluebird Hotel at first seemed really nice! It looks like they put a fresh coat of paint on the place, it had a swanky vibe to it, and the location was great! We really wanted to like the place. Unfortunately my wife and I left annoyed, frustrated, and tired. The bed was very uncomfortable with a noticeable sag to it. The fitted sheet was the wrong size and ripped. We alerted the staff twice the following day and asked them to change the sheet which did not happen. The air conditioner was loud and we couldn’t open the windows because a lack of a screen. Even the bathroom door had a loud squeaky hinge sound. So while you could tell the hotel had design tweaks and upgrades, they seem to lose sight of some of the basics.

We stayed one night mid week and were very pleased with the property. 4pm is too late for check in and they do not guarantee parking, which is fine for a Wednesday night but probably not great for the weekend. We were celebrating our 15 year anniversary and we walked into the room with a small bottle of Prosecco waiting. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for traveling with kids
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which is perfect when traveling with kids. The kids had a bunk bed and the bottom bunk is low making it ideal for small kids. Had a spacious living room and updated bathrooms. Family was not cramped at all and everyone enjoyed themselves.
