"SCP Hilo has the absolute best service and amenities, including free bike and paddle board usage as available. They also have an incredible pool, a wonderful garden, and a very unique and serene coy fish pond. SCP is also located within walking distance of many wonderful places to visit, such as Coconut Island and Liliʻuokalani Gardens. There are also a lot of fantastic food venues in walking distance, but you will likely find yourself returning to the Coconut Grill more often than not. The Vietnamese restaurant, New Saigon, located nearby is also fantastic. Lastly, there are a few bus stops in short walking distance, and since the buses are free, why rent a car at all? My wife and I had a fantastic late honeymoon here, and I can't recommend them enough! Book a stay at SCP and see what we mean! Aloha!"

"Wonderful staff. We got a recently renovated room with a kitchenette which was great. This place is not new and it’s not fancy. But we don’t need that. It felt like home. And I must repeat: the staff was wonderful. "

"We love the rooms. The floors were very quiet We were super close to good restaurants. And we love to kick back in the lounge. I think the beds were really comfortable, More so than normal. My wife didn’t want to get up. Must of all we made some amazing family memories, And we would like to go back. Just a wonderful stay a good experience. The hotel is wonderful with children. They have a lot of respect for families. Good people behind the desk and when we needed some, they answered the phone. Parking is very easy there.
