"A lovely place. Everything was just as pictured and described. The grounds are a delight. Lovely lanai, well equipped kitchen, beach/snorkel gear available. The location is in a residential area, 10 minute drive from shopping, 20 minute drive from Hilo. We found it very convenient for visits to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and east coast attractions. The house has four rental units, with hosts Kepi and Jim living in a separate house on the property. All the other guests we met in our 2-week stay were friendly and considerate people; noise was never an issue. Kepi was tremendously helpful with excellent advice and suggestions. Anyone with mobility concerns should be aware that this unit involves somewhat steep stairs to enter and to reach the bedrooms from the floor with kitchen, living, and bathroom, but there are good handrails and lights on the stairs. We'd be very happy to stay here again. "

"Clean and the amenities are well covered and thought out. What you might not have thought of they probably have. Masks for snorkeling, beach chairs and foam noodles. I didn’t recall that there is not a stove but there was a nice bbq that we cooked the Korean shortribs we bought at KTA. We bought things we shouldn’t have but because we forgot there was no way kitchen in the unit but we had lots of fun sitting on the porch eating papayas and having friendly geckos all around. Beautiful gardens. And close to many things. "

"Montana was a great host. Everything at the house was as described. The location was optimal for our trip as we were sitting time between town and volcano. About 30 to the airport and 8 minutes from Foodland. The house was comfortable and parking was easy. Everything you could need in a stay. "
