"This was our first trip to Hawaii so we had no idea about the area or what to expect about anything at all. We enjoyed every last moment, and this house was the perfect home base for us. We found the house just as described, very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful and lovely. There was plenty of shopping and restaurants close to us, though we did make a few trips to the Kona side of the island for some activities, not that there wasn’t plenty to do on the Hilo side. That was a bit of a ride, but the island is so beautiful it’s really not a problem! I would definitely stay at this property again."
