Chilly night with space heaters and blankets as we couldn’t get fireplace to heat up. Property management company handling listing was difficult.

Location! Location! Location!!
The cabin is situated steps away from the paved all-purpose path (for walkers and bicyclists) that connects Frisco to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Vail. It was especially nice being here in the midst of Fall's changing aspen leaves. Access to the hiking trails was literally right out the back door. And these trails, especially this time of year, are nothing short of awesome, with cathedral like groves of lodge pole pines and aspens reaching to the sky. The cabin itself was adequate, on the rugged side, nothing luxurious to be sure, though most of the accoutrements for cooking were present. My wife and I found it a very hands on type of place. We had to be a bit creative to find room to store food items as much of the cabinet space was taken up by a hodge-podge of what turned out to be unnecessary kitchen items. Beds were adequate and the place was fairly easy to keep warm with gas stove and various space heaters. TV and entertainment system worked well for the most part, though we didn't understand some of the features. Internet was adequate. In short it was a good little place to spend a few days within easy walking distance of main street, Frisco. Had it not been so well located I would have considered it a bit on the pricey side. That said I highly recommend it. This was my second stay here and I will definitely consider a third.

Big cleaning fee for a cabin that hadn’t been cleaned after the last guest
Arrived late at night for an overnight stay, exhausted and with a migraine to find the two of three beds the last customer used had wadded up dirty linens on the stripped beds. Bathroom floor had a pile of wet dirty towels, and seeing the checkout instructions, that’s how guests are instructed to leave the bedding and towels they’ve used. I contacted vacasa the next morning after we had left and they said because we hadn’t taken pics (in the dark and barely lit cabin) they couldn’t take off the cleaning fee we paid for a place that was handed to us already dirty. Poor service, they hounded me with texts and emails constantly for the following 3 days asking me to leave them a good review. What?? It wasn’t that great of a cabin to begin with but I assumed it good enough for one night. But as it turns out, it wasn’t even good for one night. Everything had sort of an old, cheap thrift store dirty grout feel anyway whether it had been cleaned for us or not.

Great Frisco spot!
Ideal spot for a pet-friendly Frisco stay! Few blocks off main street and a quick drive to all the nearby ski resorts. The cabin was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of bedding, towels, basic toiletries, and kitchen needs. Great spot, would highly recommend and will hopefully return!

Okay cabin, NO housekeeping
The cabin is okay, basic accommodation, location is fairly quiet and near Frisco's Main St restaurants and easy access to I-70. Kitchen accessories are adequate, the TV and internet are decent. Heat source is one gas stove and space heaters - uneven heat throughout cabin. Our experience with Vacasa (rental agency) was AWFUL. We arrived at the cabin in single-degree temps to find unmade beds, no clean sheets, used bath towels, dirty floors and counters etc - i.e. NO HOUSEKEEPING. We spoke with a non-local Vacasa rep and requested housekeeping or an alternate rental nearby. The rep said she would contact the local Vacasa and report back within 60 minutes. We received NO return call. Two hours later (pitch black and even colder) we returned to a dark rental (no porch light, no snow removal from the deck or driveway) to find minimal housekeeping (at least we had clean sheets and towels). We again called Vacasa and requested a minimal $50 refund/credit but that we would really appreciate a FULL REFUND on HOUSEKEEPING. The rep said she had put in a request for that. Three days after our stay we again contacted Vacasa. The rep had no update on our refund request but that Vacasa would contact us (no one has reached out to us). More than a full week has now passed since our stay in Frisco and we have received no refund/credit or call. Beware if you decide to use Vacasa. We will NOT be back.

Excellent Location!
The all-purpose trail (i.e., the bike path connecting all the towns of Summit County from Breckenridge to Vail to Dillon and Silverthorne) is literally right out the back door. Hiking trails are there too, including trails to Rainbow Lake and along the mountain. The cabin is only a few blocks south of Main St. Frisco and in a quiet neighborhood. Such 'quiet' however was compromised by construction noise from next door where a new house is going up (and looks to be almost finished). This noise was tolerable but constant for about three days after which it ceased altogether. Would recommend potential renters check with the owner/manager to get a read on the status of this construction before committing. Kitchen was pretty well equipped, though it could use a new dish drainer. There's no dishwasher but a serviceable sink and garbage disposal. Good stove and fridge and one-person bathroom. I didn't use the entertainment center (TV) but looks okay, possibly with Netflix streaming (if you have your own account and password). WiFi is good. I didn't need or use the gas heating stove (actually couldn't figure out how it worked even though it seemed simple enough). I would definitely consider staying here again, mostly for the location. It's a bit rustic and small. If you're more than two or three (or four) in number, you might find the quarters a bit (too) intimate. I was by myself; so, no problem. Good place to bike and hike. I went late September and the aspens were totally gorgeous!

Great cabin
The location of this cabin was perfect, could walk to main street in town in a few minutes and a short walk to the marina. The hiking around the cabin was amazing, right out the back door was endless trails. Very nice neighbors in a quiet neighborhood. It's very basic but had everything I needed and expected from a quaint cabin, big front deck. Will definitely come back for another vacation.

Nice dog and family friendly cabin!
We enjoyed our stay, great for dogs and family. Nice trailhead within walking distance, good neighborhood. Limited amenities - there was a fan with 'A/C' as an option but wasn't very effective. Luckily we also brought a fan from home to put by an open window at night to blow cool air in, house retains heat from the day. Pretty clean, but upon arrival there was still a small pile of trash in the front by the stairs and out in the backyard as well. Overall a good place.

Cozy, right off trails
Overall wonderful place and would recommend. Just know that it is a dog friendly place so there will be some hair and you will find dog waste outside from oblivious and unconsiderate prior guests. We picked up a full grocery bag of poop to help out and that wasn't all of it. DO THE RIGHT THING PEOPLE, OR STAY HOME! Everything you need is there, cabin stays warm. Only other thing to note, which is not a dealbreaker, is the couch is not very comfortable. Not ideal for watching a movie and relaxing after a long day hiking or on the slopes (maybe we should have activated the "pull out" couch". Fantastic location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Will save this property to my favorites for Frisco!

Cozy cabin. Walk to beautiful downtown Frisco, CO
The best part about this cabin is the location. You can walk to main street, Frisco in about 5 minutes. We'd never been to Frisco and fell in love with it's charming main street. The cabin itself is just as described in the listing, although the pics make it look bigger than the actual size. Overall we had a nice stay, mainly due to the location. With a few changes, (thus the 3 stars), this would be a perfect cabin. POSITIVE: Location, location, location Backs to a nice hiking trail full kitchen (minus dishwasher) clean (for the most part) soap/bar soap/shampoo/towels/sheets included TV/WiFi included Ice was already made in the freezer tea and a few other things in the pantry THINGS TO IMPROVE: Junk setting everywhere. Lots of junk in drawers, in corners and under the bunk beds. A dirty pillow was sitting on a shelf A dirty glass, with liquid still in it, was sitting on the shelf above the main bed The beds were old and uncomfortable. New mattresses would be nice. The garbage disposal was broken.

Location couldn't be better.
This little cabin is in a perfect spot for hiking, biking, & everything else Summit County has to offer. It's right on a paved recreation trail that is part of a network of trails that connects Frisco to several other towns. Downtown, Dillon Reservoir, & hiking trailheads are within walking distance. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings. There was a generous supply of shampoo/conditioner/soap, plenty of bath towels, & good hot water. This property is run by a management company, not an individual, so it lacked the personal touch and attention to detail I've come to expect from VRBO rentals. The first thing I noticed after walking in was a dusty vacuum against the wall in the living area. There was a random filter (from the vacuum?) left on a shelf at the foot of the bed. A pack of outdoor lightbulbs was shoved under the bed but still visible. The blinds & shelves were dusty & the whole place had a cluttered, haphazard feel. The first morning I discovered the coffeemaker carafe was broken. I called customer service & got a friendly representative who said a new one would be brought out. By the next morning it hadn't arrived, so I called again. Another friendly & apologetic person said he'd make sure we got a replacement. We never did, & I didn't bother to call a third time. We made do with instant coffee all week. There was only one dish towel for a six night stay. The dish drainer was broken & didn't look clean. Aside from a whisk, the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed, but it was a disorganized mess, so I had to hunt for everything. I found plates above the sink under mixing bowls. There were enough pots & pans for 2-3 cabins. Some of the drawers & cabinets were crammed full of literal junk. We arrived on Sunday & I didn't find the fire extinguisher until Thursday. It was way at the back under the sink behind other things. The salt shaker was empty & there was no other salt to fill it. There was a box of sugar with about an inch left that was completely solidified. We used & enjoyed the vertical fan, but the filter on the back needed cleaned. A blanket I pulled out of a cubby was covered in dog hair. None of these things are deal breakers & would be easy enough to fix with more conscientious management. Somebody just needs to completely clean out and organize the place. The location alone warrants 4 stars and I would even stay here again, but I'm listing all this here so the next VRBO guest knows what to expect.
