Enjoy your own cliffside oasis in this Fort Bragg vacation rental with unobstructed ocean views and private gated beach access. This cozy manufactured home offers complete kitchen amenities, a large patio, hot tub, and a million-dollar view for your next hideaway from deadlines, school work, and the daily grind.

The location is phenomenal! It's a mere 14 minutes from fine seafood dining, antique shopping, and The Skunk, a historic passenger train that runs 40 miles along the coast and through redwood forests. A five-minute trip will take you to MacKerricher State Park where you can ride horses, watch for seals and whales, and explore tide pools.

The single-story home is calming with an open floor plan, blue accents, and bright abstract paintings. Large windows create great natural lighting and the ocean can be viewed from almost every room in the home! You'll take refuge in the living room which has two upholstered chairs and a love seat. Cozy up with friends and family to watch a movie on the living room TV or pop in a DVD from the collection. A second living space just off the TV room offers floor-to-ceiling windows, a futon, lounge chair, and a gas fireplace. This is the perfect spot to curl up by the fire on a chilly night and gaze into the beauty of the sea.

Just off the living room is a dining table for four and kitchen with great storage, a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and toaster. The 1,200-square-foot home comfortably sleeps six guests and has two full baths. Two bedrooms offer queen beds and windows overlooking the rolling coastal landscape, and a futon allows for flexible sleeping arrangements. A private washer/dryer ensure that you always have clean clothes.

The patio offers a gas grill and is arranged with bright blue Adirondack furniture for both children and adults. The beach is just a stone's throw away! The semi-circle coastline represents Northern California's finest, with giant boulders jutting out into the ocean, a bright green coastline, and waves as far as the eye can see. When the mood is right, slip into the private hot tub and watch the sun set on the blue/gray horizon. Don't forget to pack your gadgets! This lovely rental even offers internet access.

Visit the Sea Glass Museum in Fort Bragg to learn about science and natural artistry, listen to the thunderous crash of waves into the cliffside at Pomo Bluffs Park, or get a double scoop cone at Cowlicks Hand Made Ice Cream.

No matter how you choose to spend your northern California adventure, this Fort Bragg vacation rental has all the modern amenities, and a breathtaking view to make this an unforgettable trip for you and your family!

Property is dated, definitely could use remodeling. Despite that, it is immaculately kept. Well stocked with essential kitchen items, towels and bedding. Its on a very large privet lot. The hot tub is awesome and the beach access is great! Only downside was the beds were a little uncomfortable and we couldn't get the gas fireplace in the sun room to work. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. beaches in Nor Cal. Down side, beds could use

Location is great, But not the house
Beautiful location. First, the beach axis is at the other end of the neighborhood not very close by the house. Secondly, the beds in the house are terrible. The one in the master bedroom was like a torture device so we moved to the spare room which wasn’t much better and, the sheets were full of sand, third the patio outside with the glass is so cloudy you can barely see the ocean. And fourth the Wi-Fi did not work at all I was texting someone about the matter, but was just told to push the reset button on the router. On a positive note, the house heater works well and there is good water pressure that’s about it.

a comfy house for a great beach vacation
It is a comfy house for a great beach vacation, within walking distance to a beach that isn't that crowded and we were there over the 4th of July weekend. there are a couple of windows with screens out and we had a sparrow fly in one afternoon. The hot tub had the best view of the beach at sunset. We loved it

Spectacular view
The house is in a very nice well maintained neighbor hood. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was quite comfortable. We tried the hot tub, but, the jets were not working, but the water was definitely hot enough. We called the host and they were pleasant and sent out a spa repair person who fixed it. We very much enjoyed the views and the 84 steps to the ocean was very pleasant.

beautiful location, poorly maintained, didn't go smoothly
When we arrived at sunset, the porch light was off, and there was a large/leaky bag of trash in the driveway. Not welcoming! Check-in was made stressful by the electronic lock on the front door. (Watch the short instructional video before using it for the first time. There are 2 knobs, but they don't engage until you punch the 10-digit code sent to you 24 hours before. Then you have limited time to draw the bolt by turning the TOP knob COUNTERclockwise. Locking up is tricky for different reasons.) The location was quiet with gorgeous views of the ocean. We enjoyed the dark night sky, the beach, and the hot tub. We lucked out on weather. As always when one is at the coast, it's helpful to know the tide schedule. The cottage was clean but in mixed condition: some parts almost new, some parts nearly worn out. There were 2 broken windows and 3 of the window shades were damaged. The DVD player was unusable, and management's response was that it wasn't listed as an amenity. I lit the gas grill using matches because the igniter didn't work. My relaxation was repeatedly disturbed by texts from Vacasa. Many roads in the area had no cellular coverage, making Vacasa's reliance on electronic messaging even more problematic. If you're there on Sunday night, you're expected to deal with the 3 waste toters, even if you just arrived. I didn't realize this until Monday morning. The chore was made even more unpleasant by my discovery of plastic trash in the greenwaste toter.

Fabulous views! Neighborhood is quiet and the short drive to Fort Bragg is lovely. Private access beach was perfect, even with 85 stairs down, then back up! Home's furnace works well but, it is noisy. Kitchen is well equipped but sadly there is no dishwasher. All in all we enjoyed our stay!

Great Location not so great home
The location of this home was really nice. Nice neighborhood, easy to drive down to beach, (there is a walk down very steep stairs), and view was nice. The Cons of the house: not very clean, the floors were dirty to where you did not want to walk barefoot. The dishes were dirty, as there is no dishwasher (I assume why so dirty?) cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom and bedrooms, most windows that were original had mold on them. The house is just plain worn down. The check in was great, easy and communication was good with VACASA. However we will not choose this house again to rent.

I will start off with the great location. Beautiful view of the ocean. Quiet and private. Property needs some serious routine maintenance that wouldn’t cost that much. Noticed that the comments from previous guests were similar, so not much has improved. Back deck needs boards replaced, carpets are seriously stained, outdoor plastic chairs were broken as well as some kitchen chairs. We made due and enjoyed the solitude and view. Good be a great place.
