The Sycamore Family Cabin on the Saluda River

Summary:
The Sycamore is the perfect place to unplug on the river. With it's cozy colors and woodsy decorations, you'll feel like you're miles away but Downtown Greenville is only 10 minutes away. All you have to do is bring your sleeping bag/bedding, pillow, towels, toiletries, and camping supplies. We provide the shelter, beds, bathhouse, and spectacular view. Each firepit will have complimentary firewood. We will also give you fire starters and matches. If you would like to purchase more firewood, you may do so at the office. Each bundle will be $5 each.

The Space:
Our Sycamore Family Cabin is the perfect combination of camping and comfort. Much like our smaller River Pods this is a pack in/pack out cabin. All you have to do is bring your sleeping bag/bedding, pillow, toiletries, and camping supplies. We provide the shelter, beds, bathhouse, and spectacular view. Unlike our smaller River Pods, this cabin has electricity. It has a small space heater for those chilly days and an A/C unit for those hot summer days. We have a bath house available for our guests, with men’s and women’s restrooms and one shower for each. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times and you must pick up after them. Please note, pet owners will be responsible for any damage and or special cleaning. There are steep bluffs close to the camping area and caution is advised and, if children come, they must be closely supervised at all times. This Cabin also has a fire pit located down by river.

Guest Access:
Please enjoy the scenic views and the beauty at Saluda Outdoor Center, where we offer tubing excursions throughout the summer. The SOC bathhouse is across the property and is to be used by guests and tubers, please expect it to be busy during the summer months.

The Neighborhood:
We are located a quick five minutes to The Village of West Greenville, our local art's district, where cute coffee shops, eateries, and galleries dot a restored mill village. Another five minutes and you're in downtown Greenville, where there's endless things to explore in this beautiful city! If you just need supplies or fast food, Easley is five minutes away in the other direction and Clemson is 30 minutes. We are also a great jumping off spot to discover waterfalls, trails, and the nearby mountains. We have it all...convenience, activities, fun, and scenic beauty!

Bring your own car and camping supplies

For nature lovers. Rippling sound of Little Saluda River soothing. Outside chairs provided the opportunity to enjoy. Microwave and refrigerator were nice luxuries.

A Hidden Gem
My fiancé and I stayed here for an early Christmas with his family in Greenville. It was a short 15-minute drive to downtown. We stayed in a tiny home, and it was absolutely perfect! it had everything you could need and was so cute and cozy! Waking up to the river every day was wonderful. The brewery was very nice and though the food was a bit pricey, it was excellent. It was the best meal I had that weekend. I will definitely stay here again when I need a home away from home!

Great Glamping experience
It was cozy for our dog and family of four. The space heater kept us warm and the bath houses were closer than we expected. It is nothing extravagant, but for the price, it was a quick, easy, and clean getaway spot for our family to enjoy Greenville.
