Vacation from hell. Property is managed by third party company Vacasa & they're the WORST
This was supposed to be a fun trip for my moms birthday & turned into a vacation from hell. The unit is managed by third party company Vacasa & they're one of the worst companies I've dealt with. They lie, are non-responsive.l, & unreliable. No one ever gets back to you/helps, they don't follow through with anything. The unit isn't accessible by the main road, it's hidden in the back of the buildings, can't drive up to it, parking isn't close, it has no proper footpath it's rocks & dirt my mom slipped & almost fell as it had been raining. The unit was dated but clean. Upon arrival, there was a boil water notice on the table, no one told us. We called Vacasa that night, they said they'd look into it. I hadn't heard from them so the following afternoon I called the New York Dept. of Health & they were still doing water testing & instructed me to continue with the advisory. Imagine my shock when I get a call from Vacasa shortly after saying there's no boil water advisory because they "hadn't heard of one" ?? So I guess that means it didn't happen. Instead of looking into it, they assumed no & in doing so put my life at risk. I'm immunocompromised & told them & they didn't care. I told them their info contradicts what I was told by NY Dept of Health & asked for info on who told them no: they never gave me an answer or followed up. I was told they'd try to get us water, yet it never happened. No one helped us, I called VRBO & they just directed me back to vacasa, useless.

Very disappointing
When we got to the property there was a tornado a few days prior that went right thru the grounds. I contacted customer service asking if we could be placed somewhere else or receive a partial refund as the place was in shambles and was told it was safe to stay at this property and there was nothing they would do unless we wanted to change the days. We were already t ere. They were very rude and did not assist me at all and I do t think I will use this site to book another vacation as it seemed as if we didn’t matter. Very poor customer service

Overall the online listing is a very accurate representation of the property. It has a very rustic cabin feel. The pond that you can visit is wonderful and well staffed and taken care of. My only complaint is there was no air conditioning in the apartment and it got very hot.

Lovely place
Condo was great but they didn't allow dogs despite what the title says, not dog friendly. House was nice size for the two of us. Bedroom is upstairs with king sized bed that was very hard to get out of!! The bed frame sits on the floor so each morning was a struggle to get up and out of the bed. Bed was comfortable and slept well but hard for senior citizens to get out of.

Honestly, not worth the money whatsoever. The place was dirty and had a smell to it. It looked like there was a blood stain in the middle of the downstairs carpet. No AC, they said to open the windows but there were no screens on the windows (we have a 2 year old - not appropriate) and they were full of spider webs and bugs as if it wasn’t cleaned in a long time. We ended up leaving early because it was not worth our time.
