"The Hotel Calimala is certainly a "boutique hotel"! My wife was in awe with the room and the view of Florence. The hotel is located in the perfect walking location to everything you will want to see in Florence and is filled with the most helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay, our room, and the kindness and helpfulness of all of the Hotel Calimala personnel!! Clean, Safe, walking distance to so many of the sights, just around the corner from the multitude of shops. Perfect!!"

"The hotel is very charming. Almost felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Staff are super helpful. Worked out a trip for us to a nearby winery. Shuttle has 2 drop off points (#1 at the famous piazza di Michelangelo). Hotel grounds are beautiful. Worth a walk around. Great bar service and even a self serve wine area, if you prefer. Good breakfast. Fantastic dinner (try the filet and a bottle of Barolo). Our room had huge windows. Small bathroom in our room (for example, could sit on the toilet and brush teeth at same time😉), but we managed just fine. We are so looking forward to staying here again on our next trip!"
