Cheap flights from Newark to Copenhagen
Newark International Airport (EWR) is a busy international hub. You can get to EWR from New York City with Newark Airport Express Coach buses. Grand Central Station, Bryant Park and Port Authority Bus Terminal all connect to the Express Coach. Alternately, AirTrain connects to NJ Transit and Amtrak, which allow expansive access to New York City and surrounding areas.
Most flights from EWR to Copenhagen Airport (CPH) last 13 hours or more depending on stops. CPH is very public transportation friendly. The Train and Metro Stations are both located in Terminal 3, while several bus lines can get you to Copenhagen. Taxis are found in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
Attractions and tips
Once in Copenhagen, history and thrills will interface at Bakken, the world’s oldest amusement park, while the car-free, carefree and autonomous neighborhood of Christiania offers a unique romp for adults.
Meanwhile, the National Museum houses relics as old as the Stone and Viking Ages and Rosenborg Castle highlights the area’s royal history.
If you’d like to go further north to Sweden, taxis from Terminal 3 at CPH can drive you there, as can certain buses and metro lines. Summers see about 18 hours of sunshine, while winter months only claim eight hours of daylight.
