Attractions and Tips
The West Side Market provides an interesting look at the city with lots of local food items on hand at all times. For something a little more upscale, consider checking on show times for the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall. When the weather is nice, get out and enjoy the Emerald Necklace, a great place to walk, bike or jog along a long string of parks and gardens. Lots of water activities are available along the great lakes nearby. Even if you are not a music lover, you will want to explore the seven floors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
High humidity and temperatures seem to characterize the summers of Cleveland. On the opposite end of seasons, winters are chilly and snowy. The interesting lake effect snow works to create snow from the vapor that rises and freezes from the lake. Springtime temperatures are nice but thunderstorms and strong winds are common.
