Fly from Orlando International (MCO) is an international airport located six miles southeast of Orlando, Florida, and can be accessed via Jeff Fuqua Boulevard. The holy place for people of the Mormon religion is Temple Square, which contains the Mormon Tabernacle, the Mormon Temple, the Assembly Hall and the Temple Annex. The State Capitol building was built in the neo-Classical style of architecture, and it houses the Senate, House of Representatives and the Supreme Court of Utah. Heritage Park contains a statue of the city's founder, Brigham Young, who according to legend declared that this was the place to build his town as soon as he saw it. The Joseph Smith Memorial Building was built in 1911 and is named for the originator of the Mormon Church. It features numerous marble columns, art glass and a grand staircase. Liberty Park covers 80 acres and is the largest greenspace area in Salt Lake City.
Summers are hot in the city with an average of 23 days at 95 degrees or hotter, while winters can be very cold, with temperatures frequently dropping below the freezing mark. Precipitation is annually light here, averaging only about 20 inches per year and most of that falling from March to May.
