From songwriter to chart-topper
Chris Janson moved to Nashville after graduating high school to pursue a musical career. His early success came from his songwriting abilities, working with artists like Holly Williams, Tim McGraw, Hank Williams Jr., and Justin Moore. He released his debut single in 2010, but it wasn't until five years later that his first full-length album was released. His single "Buy Me a Boat" shot to the top of the charts, landing on the number two spot on the US Country chart. As a master of many instruments, a powerful voice, and a raw talent, Chris Janson has injected new energy into the country music genre.
