The food I was served was incredible and worth almost as much as I paid for the hotel room. The onsen at the hotel is better than most of the public ones in town. "Enjoyable place to stay. Spa was nice though it was closed the hour before check out, so it was not super convenient. We couldn’t get double beds in the room, which was not ideal for a honeymoon. Still had a good time. "

"We stayed one night as a quick visit. The hotel is located at the end of the onsen strip. It's a older hotel. Lights are dimmer than the ones in the cities. We like that we get futons and sleep on the floor. Front desk staff speaks limited English, but they try their best to answer our questions. They will use a translator to help us understand if we have questions. They also loan out yukata for us to wear and we can onsen hop to other hotel onsen at no additional charge. We get a tour to our room from the hotel staff. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, but you will need to reserve to get a spot. A lot of shops closed by 8 pm so book dinner at the hotel if it's available. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the onsen at other hotels so will definitely return to try other onsens next trip. The shower room was super clean for an older hotel. Looks brand new!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel personnel was more than helpful. We had a minor medical situation and they went out of their way to help us find medical attention. This was more complicated because many clinics were closed due to a holiday but they made many phone calls and found a solution for us. We are very grateful for their diligence. The hotel itself is very new and the decor is quite modern. Everything was clean and in perfect condition."
