Nice chill space
Fun place to stay. We chilled with two families there. It was quiet and had good activities in the house for the kids. They have all the basics. Super easy check in and access.

Great house close to the river.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was great! It is in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to a community park/beach, with deer and other game walking through the yard daily. It does take a little longer than we thought to get into Coeur d'Alene, so we should have been more prepared for making meals. But everything was perfect.

Off the Beaten Path. Beautiful area and comfortable house.
We traveled to ride the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene. The house was a little out of the way but an easy drive to the Plummer Trailhead. It was comfortable and had a beautiful view of Cave Bay. The public beach was farther than we thought and was a fifteen minute walk. I think you would need to drive with beach gear and noticed that many residents have golf carts to get around. Property manager was responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Good family rental
This was a great rental for our family of 8 with 6 kids, ages 2-12. We had plenty of room, enough pots and pans to cook with and it is in a good location to the local lake area. It was hot - 98 degrees on our first day- but fans/ac made it comfortable. We also brought two of our own fans that we used in the upstairs bedrooms to move a little more air around. Our kids that slept downstairs said it was cool enough. We are also from the PNW where A/C is not common so are used to warm summer temps. We enjoyed having the pool table and Roku tv was enough for us. We had no problems with internet connectivity. It is a 40 min drive to downtown Coeur D’Alene but we worked it into our plan and drove out on 2 days and swam in the local cave bay access area the other days. All said this was a great rental for our family.

Wonderful cabin, incredible location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were cool enough at night and the pool table and foosball table were nice amenities to have. The east facing deck was perfect for evening dinners outside, enjoying the view of the lake and watching deer, turkeys and raccoons come through the yard. The walk to the beach/marina is reasonable but driving is a good idea especially after a long day on the lake. We would absolutely book this place again!

Extended Family Vacation
This was a great place for our extended family for a week. Worley has an amazing water park, the beach was also a ton of fun and the house overall was well suited for a family stay. The only notes we would mark would be to bring window fans if it will be hot. The AC works hard, but being able to get air moving in the upper bedrooms was hard when the daytime temps were 90+. When we got to the house the dehumidifier was not running, we have the same model so we were able to reset it, but not all tenants will know how. We also brought one based on other reviews and that helped a ton as well.

Quiet & basic
This property is a middle of the road cabin. If you like time together on the deck, then this could be your place, but there are some limitations. Here are the highs and lows. Highs: - Deck is accommodating and the grill works great. Decent seating area. - Area is peaceful and quiet. - Pool and fusball tables were great for the kids - Had basic cooking items and coffee maker, towels, and was generally clean. Even a few extras were there; laundry/dish detergent, condiments (salt/pepper, seasons), toilet paper and paper towels. Lows: - No trash service. You have to drive trash to town. It’s not far off the trip to CDA but who wants to do this on vaca? The owners should figure this out. - A 1 window air conditioner. It was mix of cool weather for 2 days and warmer weather for 2 days on our stay. A window air conditioner can’t service an entire house. - Basement is a humidor…it’s musty, damp and humid. Nothings drys there. The downstairs sink in the bathroom is a very slow drainer. - Could use a fire put or gas fire table on the deck…would be a great adder for the best feature of this place. It’s not a bad place if you like basic and quiet.

Beautiful stay out of the hustle and bustle
This location and view were amazing. It’s quiet and tucked away in a private neighborhood not near any of the traffic or noise of the suburbs or city. The view of the water is a little misleading as it’s a short trek to get there, not walkable for many and much easier to drive but still could be a walk for those who don’t mind a lot of incline. The house was spacious and gorgeous and I could sit on that deck for hours and be perfectly happy. All 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 kids had a blast and were completely comfortable. Would return.

Very enjoyable place to stay
Young kids, 3 middle age adults and 2 seniors had an excellent time at this property. Beautiful view. Great nature watching. Comfortable home with great entertainment options. The beach is a drive away, 2-3 min. We had an issue with cleanliness at check-in. The property management was FANTASTIC to work with. I really appreciate such an upstanding company. This property is worth the cost and a great value in my opinion. Thanks VRA!

Our Stay At Cave Bay
We wanted to reach out to advise of a couple of things from our stay in Cave Bay. The house appeared as if the guests before us had a pet. The couches in the living room each had a good deal of both people hair and animal hair on them. So much so that we had to cover them with quilts from the bedroom closet upstairs to sit on them. The decorative bed pillows and comforters on the beds in the home also had a lot of long hair on them left from a prior guest but the actual sheets were clean so we just moved those aside. The house is in a beautiful location and a bit off the beaten path which adds to the charm of getting away however the “beach” area at the water front is not an easy walk from the home. My kids are very active 11 and 15 year olds and they had difficulty with the steep road getting back to the house. The swimming area is definitely for younger kids as is the sandbox. The grass is not maintained and the geese poop is too much to sit on or comfortably be near. The City Beach in Coeur D’Alene worked well for swimming but because of the distance it limited the time we spent in the water. My husband and I took the downstairs bedroom for privacy but had to put up with a musty smell we suspect was from the damp laundry room/bathroom across the hall. The bed also seemed to be smaller than a queen which made for cramped sleeping. The email correspondence received from the rental company was also contradictory. It said there would be trash service and garbage cans that would need to be put out on the specified trash collection day however when we got there there was a sign in the house that said we would need to drive our trash out to the dump location close to downtown Worley. There is also a sign when you enter the subdivision of Cave Bay that says “boil water”. It would have been nice to have some communication on whether or not that was needed in the home. We were worried about the ice in the freezer and sink water for teeth brushing. Overall we had a nice stay and the kind of family vacation we hoped for however it turned out to be a bit different from our expectation.

Great time, with a few suggestions
This was our third or fourth stay at the lake house. Its a nice little house and perfect for our purposes. Just a few suggestions: Vacuuming was not up to snuff. Furniture needs to be pulled away and underneath carpet vacuumed well. Also, we would have loved to have a vacuum available so we could keep the floors litter free. The basement bed and trundle bed mattresses were not supportive. They might be upgraded. I know - it's an expense. Basement shower leaks water onto floor, wetting the little rug. It was always soaked. Lots of pots and pans, but maybe too many of several categories. The lower storage cabinet was really difficult to use. Hard to access the mess of pans. Still, we really enjoyed it. Just thought mgt/owner might want to know. Many thanks - it is such a nice property. Oh, a slat from the basement sliding door fell off - apparently the plastic attachment piece was broken. Not by us.

A little remote, but that's OK
We booked this property for a guys golf weekend. We had planned to play one day in Coeur d' alene and one day at Circling Raven. The house was in basically in the middle so that worked out well for us. Not close to much else though. The house is pretty dated, but again, not a problem for us.
