"We stayed here this summer for a week and loved the place. It is convenient for our families who live around the state of NC. So, we booked it and went back as a family for Thanksgiving. The space works for our family. We love the open concept of the kitchen, dining area and family room with its views of the lake. The large dining room table is wonderful and easily sits our family of 12 (two in highchairs but when they graduate the table will still easily accommodate them.) The spiral staircase is steep and was our only concern after our summer stay but we brought a gate this visit and made it so the little ones couldn't go down. Weather turned quite chilly so we didn't spend much time outdoors but did enjoy the firepit one evening. We are already talking about planning a week at the lake this summer. Joel is quick to respond and easy to work with. "
