It is a great location and staff are incredibly nice And room is very large, and had a great view of the marina. It’s just the interior. Old stained carpet, toilet and ac didn’t work. Curtain rod broken. Just feels like owners aren’t maintaining the property.

I know the goal is to maintain the history and historic look of the building, but some of the basic functions seemed just a little too old. For example, a piece of decorative wood molding on the front door was hanging off (cosmetic, but still sad-looking and fixable) and I had to try a few times to get the shower faucet to turn off completely because it was just so incredibly janky. Still, good price and location, also bedbug-free and kind/helpful staff.

Close to what you need to see downtown. There’s a considerable amount of people sleeping on the street around the streets in the area and there was trash from the night before that was not totally cleaned up. The room was basic (the bathroom was stifling and the door was somewhat frosted so you could see everything going on in there). Overall, good location, comfortable bed and inexpensive.

I was greeted by the receptionist who threatened to cancel my reservation even though my flight was delayed so that was a bad first impression. I did enjoy the room, it was very comfortable and well air conditioned. The shower though never got hot and I had to take lukewarm showers.

Hopefully better next time.
Went to visit for a business trip and attend the convention. When I first checked in there were wet towels in the tub and one hanging from the shower rod. One of the beds had stains on it. I understand it is a very old building and the plumbing can be an issue however the outlets in the room all stopped working and the mini fridge in the room was leaking all night and what we had bought went bad. There is a parking garage was across the street so distance wise it wasn’t so bad however each time we left the parking garage it was a different price and it never made sense.
