This hotel was a bit outdated. Room was dirty and toliet kept running. Parking was $20 a night. No complementary breakfast. However, location is perfectly fine with shopping and dining 🍽.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony was nothing special. It was very smal and hot as the vent fromy the air conditioner blew hot air into the small space. The location is great, we werw able to walk to restaurants and stores. I've seen complaints about the homeless population in the area, however if you live in a city it is something you see regularly at home. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly upon check in. The hotel only offers valet parking however we found a parking garage a block away. $25 for 24 hours ane you cpuld come and go as many times as you wanted between 7am and 11pm.

Comfortable and convenient location. Room was quiet and well-equipped. We got a room with a balcony. The balconies are small and not worth the extra expense. The hotel charges an early check in fee. We arrived 50mins before check in. Our room was ready but we were still asked for the fee. We declined and just waited. Other than that, staff were helpful and were always professional. The location is very convenient

Perfect location, good experience
Great location. Lots of food options, and plenty to see in the area. Room faced the street, but we ran the AC, which helped block out the possible outside noise. Rooms are spacious, plenty of towels, soap, etc. only complaint is the beds are really uncomfortable, so much so that it woke up both my partner and I both nights and hurt hips and back. Otherwise, no complaints

The hotel is fine and well kept. However they insist on charging a "Destination" fee which is ridiculous. These days, downtown Portland is pretty much a wasteland, lots of closed businesses and TONS of homeless people. I suppose it is a destination if you want to look at urban blight and dirty street people. Just include what ever in the price and be upfront about it. When I asked the desk staff about what the fee was, I got a 5 minute tirade about how the clerk was tired of explaining this to guests. POOR customer service.

UNDERSTAFFED!
Waaaaayyyy understaffed. ONE server for the entire restaurant on Saturday morning. Hotel seemed full due to a big concert nearby. It took 2 hours! Then we tried to get our car from the valet and because of staffing issues, the one valet guy had to walk 20 people down the street to get our cars ourselves. Fortunately they said they wouldn’t charge us our $80 fee!

Great location and friendly staff!
The air conditioning was nice and cold, but loud. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and we liked the ease of the valet parking, but it was extremely expensive. Nice area!!
