Unfortunately, I do not have much positive to share. We stayed at this location in 10/23 and had such a pleasant experience that we decided to go back. Our misfortunes started on our 1st night. After being in the car for 8 hrs, we decided to have dinner at the hotel. During our previous stay, we found the food to be exceptional. This wasn’t the case for this stay- abbreviated menu not well prepared. We were disappointed to say the least. Our travails continued the next morning when we couldn’t get the keurig to work. When we tried to call the front desk, we discovered that the room phone didn’t work - no dial tone and no way to have coffee in the room. We ultimately stopped at the front desk on our way out for the day and were assured the coffee pot would be replaced. The remainder of day 2 was uneventful. Rise and shine day 3. Imagine our dismay to discover that , while the coffee pot had been replaced, the replacement brewed 1/2 cups and stopped. At least we could have coffee on the patio. After enjoying the patio for an hour, we left the hotel around 8:30 to start our day. We returned around 2:30 only to find that our room had not been “refreshed” and we had no towels for showers. With the phone still not working, I traveled to the front desk requesting cleaning service and was assured they would be there by 4. At 4:15, I once again went to the front desk requesting towels in order to shower for dinner. I was the given towel. Very little was up to expectations.

The entire staff was excellent, friendly, and genuine. A walk-in shower, I've never been in a hotel with a huge walk-in shower. The food was excellent and the cost was equal to out in the area. The drinks were outstanding. I wish there was a mini microwave in the room. There was a private event with painting. My kids were sad, because they like painting. Would've been nice if the hotel could offer something like for kids.

The stay was amazing, we did the ocean view room. Nothing compares to the sunrise and sunset in the beach. Access to the beach over short dunes via bridges or 2 sand paths. The small dunes help with wildlife protection and we had a wide section of beach and other side of hotel has Bay across the street. Hotel room was large, and well decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful, Scott took our bags up, and we had Toby as a waiter for dinner, front desk staff were gracious too. Only changes I would like to see, small in room brooms for sand ( don’t want full room clean daily) and check mold in shower from INSIDE shower as area near shower door with lots of mold. Also wanted to check out gift shop but closed pretty early. Will be back again!
