Great place to stay and comfortable.
The hotel is great and love the food options with the market place. The food options need to be changed more often than the usual that I have seen from my last three stays there. I had an issue with the parking charge as the fee changed between the time of my booking. It took three visits to the front desk after the first time saying it was resolved. That is ridiculous that it wasn't taken care of the first time when I told it was. Leave the pool open an hour longer during the week and weekend.

It was so convenient to have transportation to Universal Studios and the dining options were awesome in the hotel. We never had to move our car from the parking lot because everything was right there at the resort or Universal City Walk or the parks

Great for access to Universal Studios. Easy to get about if you dont have a car. Walking distance to couple of resturants. Short drive to Walmart ( depending on traffic) for essentials and snacks.

Overall for a budget option Dockside Inn was brilliant. It was super well connected to the parks, shuttles were regular and the AC was a life saver - I don’t think I waited more than 5 mins for a shuttle. The pool and drink options were great, especially the freestyle machines - having one by the pool was great. The only thing that let it down if I was being picky would be the food options - a little repetitive and not a bunch of choice. Overall this was a great hotel and I wouldn’t think twice about a return - it was way better value and quality compared to the Disney budget options (which I also stayed at on this trip).

This is a great resort! The dining options are nice in the morning if you don’t want to leave to go and get breakfast. Also, the shuttles to Citywalk and Volcano Bay are super convenient if you don’t want to drive. They drop you off right at the entrances. Would definitely stay here again!!

I stayed 6 nights and I have no complaints about my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were both smooth. The only downside was that you had to pay for parking and no complimentary breakfast; but that’s expected because of the area. The food options were good and the pool was great. I love that you hear music underwater. The shuttle bus to Universal was a plus; we used the shuttle 3 times. Each time we never had to wait for a bus as there was one always there waiting for guest. The ride was very short too. I will definitely stay here again.
