I stay at this Clarion every year for 4 consecutive weekends for Halloween Horror Nights and have been doing so for years. The hotel is RIGHT outside the entrance to Universal. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. All rooms have mini fridges and single serve Keurig machines. I like how the buildings are arranged and there's always parking even when the hotel is fully booked. While it's certainly a budget hotel and may be a little dusty here and there, I have never experienced it being dirty and have never seen the bugs-who-shall-not-be-named. Full size bathtubs and good shower heads. Surprisingly quiet and cozy. I'll be back next year!

Do not stay at this hotel, I was there for a half an hour and left and went to the Cabana Bay hotel. This smells of curry, throughout the entire hotel and the room was musty smelling and air conditioner did not work! They would not refund my money!

The location of the hotel was just what we needed. The rooms were clean and smelled clean. However, no hot water for showers and the room temperature was fair, not cool or cold. Checked out on a Sunday morning right at 7:30 construction and banging going on in rooms in both sides of our room. Wasn’t a bad stay, but definitely more choices for same price in the area.

Overall the property is nice. The garden was beautiful and I loved the pool and hot tub. The breakfast sandwich at the cafe was delicious. My primary complaint is there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom above the bathroom tub and other cosmetic issues inside the room. Overall it was a pleasant experience otherwise.

Leaky bathtub with water dripping constantly, no continental breakfast, water in stairways when walking to your room. No elevators if you're on the 2nd floor. Pleasant staff especially in the souvenir shop.
