Welcome to The Islander! This amazing beach house features a fantastic backyard equipped with an outdoor kitchen, three refrigerators, a gas BBQ, a smoker, an ice maker, a fire pit, a putting and chipping green, a TV, games, and much more. It is conveniently located just 11 blocks (approximately half a mile) from the beach and two blocks from Sunshine Park. This PET-FRIENDLY beach house is outfitted with smart TVs in every bedroom, Wi-Fi, and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen that includes a blender, Keurig and regular coffee makers, and a toaster; all you need to bring is your food and drinks. Additionally, there is a full-size washer and dryer in a separate laundry room. Linens are provided for all beds, including a raised airbed, as well as bath and beach towels. Beach gear is also included, featuring beach chairs, a cart, a blanket, and a cooler. Plus, the newly built heated pool with a large swim shelf makes this house the perfect retreat.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a private pool and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a DVD player is provided for your entertainment.

The home itself is breathtaking and WOW the backyard. The dishes, trashbags and extras were a big bonus! We loved our stay and would go back. Only little negative was beach wasnt close enough to walk or really get a a golf cart like we hoped but the pool was better anyway.

Beautiful modern home, the backyard and pool is just amazing. No need to go to the beach everything you need for fun in the sun is right there. Well equipped kitchen perfect for large family meals inside and out. We especially loved all the seating for everyone inside and outside. Thanks for a great place to have our long weekend in Jax Beach. :)

Amazing Property - Perfect In Every Way
This house is absolutely amazing in every way. It is in a great neighborhood and walk to the park and five minute drive to the beach. The house was clean and spotless and had more amenities than any Vrbo I've stayed at before. The property manager was easy to communicate with and very attentive. The pool was clean, warm and so much fun. I could spend endless days in the backyard. Life is better at this place.

Relaxing week March 2023
The Islander home was exactly what we expected. Outdoor space was so relaxing & made it easy to just “hang out”. We had kids and adults staying for the week and everyone was entertained! The beach was close to the house and the host even provided beach chairs/umbrella to take with us. We found plenty of great dinner spots in the evening. Close enough to St. Augustine that if you wanted to go for a visit or to tour downtown, you can! The swings out by the backyard bar were our favorite “fun feature”. The hosts pay attention to detail… for example: we checked in Saturday, the teens played corn hole in the back Sat evening. The boards had some wear from the weather, but we would not have said anything they worked just fine. Sunday we were gone for the day and when we got back to the house someone had been by and swapped out the corn hole boards with new ones. Again, we didn’t mention it or ask. They noticed it and took care of it. All communication with the host was efficient/clear & quick! We will def. Plan another trip!

Most amazing backyard!
This house was a dream to stay in! We reserved it for a family get together, and the highlight of this house was the backyard! It is perfect for entertaining, hosting dinners, barbecues, you name it. The view of the pool from the outdoor kitchen really makes it feel you are on a tropical vacation. Everyone in our group raved about the outdoor kitchen and how they had to have one at home. It was truly a treat to be able to entertain our family and friends there. The house had everything we needed and was clean, cozy, and comfortable. It felt as though we were right at home. And everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were! Mike and the Welcome Home team were a dream to work with making our stay as seamless as possible. We can’t wait to book this property again.

The pictures does not do this house justice. It was so beautiful inside and out and less than 5 minutes from the beach. The lizards kept me from enjoying the beautiful backyard but everyone else enjoyed it and that's all that matters. It definitely doesn't take away from how beautiful and peaceful the backyard is. ❤
