We arrived early and understood our room was not ready. The staff at the desk was lovely and rechecked us in and said they would call when the room was ready. At 350 I stopped at the desk and was told the room wasn’t ready but should be shortly At 5 I went back to the desk and was told the room was still not ready. I felt this was unacceptable and told them that and then the room was ready- long day

Big mistake booking this, had concerns when we pulled up, when we got to our damp smelling, sparse and unloved room they were confirmed. Complained and told no rooms have refurbed, they had no similar option but we could pay more to stay in an equally smelly and unloved room. Checked out, demanded a refund, given all sorts of reasons why not, 5 stars for Hotels.Com who dealt with the issue and got us a 100% refund. Also right next to highway, road noise everywhere, they need to finish the refurb, avoid

Decent condition, the resort fee was ridiculous for how little I wasn’t using these amenities. I was staying for a wedding so was a little miffed about an $60 per night for activities I wasn’t going to use.

Our room was on the parking lot side on the ground level so not so great from that aspect. The pool/ocean side was very nice. Overall an okay place to stay but facility is pretty outdated.
