Of the six international airports, Punta Cana (PUJ) Airport is by far the busiest and most preferred by travelers taking flights to Dominican Republic. The Santo Domingo Las Americas (SDQ) is located on the South Coast. Puerta Plata (POP) serves travelers on their way to the North Coast.
