Holiday Inn Daytona Beachside 2024
I booked the room at the Daytona beach holiday inn through you . No where did it say the were under construction.. starting at 8 am everyday the construction notices started . Drilling, jackhammers . We're from CA and we're still on that time zone. Tough to sleep . We were in room 216. We would get to hotel around 10pm after spending time with family . Doors opening and closing! People talking loudly in the hall . It was not a pleasant stay . I asked the front desk about it and was told that remodeling was posted on their site . The lobby, restaurant and outside pool area was nice and tidy but you couldn't enjoy due to construction.

Great one night stay
We were in Daytona for an overnight stay to attend my brother's 50th Birthday party. The check in was quick and the lobby was neat. They are currently renovating,but it's not messy at all, a few areas are taped off, again nothing major. We had a balcony with an Incredible view of the beach, tiki bar and fire pit area. Will definitely plan to stay again for longer .

I killed at LEAST 3 roaches in my room!The staff/housekeepers were extremely loud in the morning as if guests weren’t in their rooms sleeping.I could literally hear their entire conversations,accents & all.ALL the ice machines were broken.It was the worst hotel experience I ever had.I will not be goin back & I most certainly do bot reccomend it.

The pictures of the property show you a nice and update hotel, however it is being remodeled as of 11/24/24, the room was nice but it was dated, the room did have an ocean view but the windows are so dirty that it was hard to see out of it. The service was actually great and it was a great value, I just wish the pictures of the room were more accurate. The lobby does look exactly like the pictures

I enjoyed everything about this property but the only thing is that in check in, I was given a room and key to another guests room. I understand it was a mistake but the safety of me and that guest was compromised and left a really negative first impression.

Breakfast credits were a joke!! Breakfast was very limited to what Menu offered as server kept saying 'we may not have, we are out of'...then to say a breakfast for three was $48 to have a remaining bill of $12 after $36 in credits! aweful!! One of three patrons left the table bc of all the mishaps..disgrace. Room was ok but nothing to brag on.

There was renovations going on after the latest hurricane and areas were being repaired and improved. The room and public areas were very nice. I would suggest better lighting in the room, no overhead light and dim light on the table. Also a nice added feature I've seen recently on travels is a usb adaptor plug near the bed for charging phones. Unfortunately, I lost an item on my trip and I am hoping they can find it for me. Overall I was pleased with the property and would stay ther again if the occasion arose.
