Book Portland Flights

Ontario International (ONT) is located about 38 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and is best reached by going down I-10 or taking a bus or Metrolink. Flights usually last for two hours to Portland International (PDX). PDX is located up against the Columbia River, just a few miles north of downtown Portland. Taxis are parked just outside the terminal building and there are public transportation options, as well.

America's fastest growing city, Portland offers plenty to see and do for the visitor. The local art museum offers an excellent selection of modern works from painters both local and foreign, while the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is a treat for kids. Outdoorsy types are well catered for, as there are several gorgeous national parks within a stone's throw of the city, such as the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and the Washington Park. At night, visitors can explore Portland's vibrant nightlife: home to one of the biggest craft brewing scenes in the country, there's always a new beer to sample!

Portland has a mild climate, with warm summers and cool winters; it can be a rainy city at times though and visitors are advised to bring rain gear. The city's hotels are clustered downtown on the banks of the Willamette River.
