Fue desastroso, todo sucio, en medio de la cena una cucaracha viva caminando por mi servilleta en el Restaurante francés, me ofrecieron una disculpa y si quería hacer una reservación para algún otro debido al inconveniente y cuando quise hacer la reservación porque mi hija quería almorzar en el restaurante italiano la señora Violeta fue demasiado grosera y mal educada al dirigirse a mi par explicarme que ya no tenía derechos a nada en el hotel solo al bufet si quería sino que me quedara sin comer. De veras muy mala atención al cliente y poca ética profesional de parte de esta señora VIOLETA que no olvidaré ni su cara ni su nombre. Negarle un almuerzo a una niña y después de pasar el mal rato que tuvimos deja muy mal sabor de este hotel

We stayed here for six nights in October and although there was a few rainy days, it burned off quickly and was very enjoyable. The humidity wasn't too bad, but on one day. The drinks were good, the staff was super nice and helpful and the food was decent. There were plenty of options to choose from for food. But pay attention to when the restaurants close and the RIU parties end, the food becomes scarce...so no midnight munchies after drinking lol. This hotel helps book excursions and transportation to and from. Overall this place was very excellent, good shows and entertainment. We would stay here again for sure.

Our recent stay at the RIU Peninsula was truly memorable, thanks to the outstanding service from the staff. Kevin went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration extra special. His professionalism, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail reflect the high standards of the RIU brand. He truly exemplifies leadership and exceptional customer service. In addition, I absolutely must acknowledge Alex, who never fails to greet us at the hotel lobby with a warm smile and the kind words: "Welcome home - welcome back." Seeing Alex at the entrance during each of our visits has become a signature experience for us — a true hallmark of the RIU Peninsula. His warm welcome sets the tone for every stay, and he consistently raises the bar for customer service. Another team member who made a lasting impression was Luis from the buffet restaurant. He turned our morning breakfasts into a delightful experience. Always attentive, he ensured my wife had her cappuccino just the way she likes it. Despite being busy, Luis made us feel like we were his top priority. His hard work and warm service are greatly appreciated. On a constructive note, we did feel that the check-in experience could be improved. This was our fifth stay at the RIU Peninsula, and while we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, the staff member who checked us in didn't acknowledge the occasion or extend the warm welcome we've come to expect. Overall, we remain loyal to the RIU Peninsula .
