Our room was clean and nice however there should be more “inclusive family” items for those paying for upgraded family villas. The food wasn’t great at any of the restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s very difficult to find basketballs/tennis rackets and they are not near the courts. Our butler was great. Overall the trip was okay but we have stayed at other chains, even less expensive chains, and preferred them over this resort. Shop around for excursions as two of the vendors on site tried to sell us an excursion and the online price directly through the excursion website was significantly cheaper. We did the photos through the onsite vendor and they were significantly higher in price than what we have paid at other resorts. We ultimately did not purchase.

My third time here. The staff at the resort is great Reselly at portofino is an awesome server She went above and beyond. Alberto in the buffet restaurant is also awesome saw us waiting and already had coffee and juice in the table waiting for us. Truly missed Jose at the adult pool he has a great personality and always attentive. Plan on going back next year hoping Jose will be back at that pool.

Nice trip and we had a great time. Room, staff and food were all good! I have been to this resort several times and always find it be fantastic. Alberto - World Cafe, is just a wonderful person. Very nice and always happy. Resilly -Portofino, best waitress in the resort. Professional, pleasant and made our dining experience perfect (actually ate there 3 times). We had the Preferred Package and spent our days at the Adult Pool. The Adult Pool was just not the same without Jose! Jose has been at the Adult Pool for the last several years and was moved to another location. A few guests that I recognized from previous years, and new guests that we met, all commented the same - they missed Jose. Please bring Jose back to the Adult Pool! Thank you for a nice visit.

Its a smaller resort, perfect for families with kids. Poolside entertainment and activities were amazing!

The resort was decent , for the price I would not recommend. The areas by the rooms are poorly lit and there are so many animals (raccoons and kudamundis) that are hiding in the bushes.There was poop all over the steps leading to the rooms .Also , the fridge in my room was broken . The food was disgusting, I’ve never starved on vacation until this one .The ocean smelled extremely bad , and I couldn’t utilize the beach during my stay. The best part was the pool , but the alcoholic beverages are watered down and it takes MULTIPLE to even feel a buzz . Overall, I would not stay here again .

Big pool, water park is good. Not crowded at all. Pool was clean for the most part. Staff at the swimmup bar was great!

I like the amount of dining options. The service was great. My room was a terrible experience. The first thing we noticed was the dirty green lounge chair on the patio. Then our ceiling was leaking. You could see visible bubbling of the paint. The staff painted over the leak. The next day black spot appeared and bubbling returned. Then came the smell of mildew. You couch smelled of mildew. The couch pillows smelled of mildew. The bad linen and our clothes smelled damp and wet. It was very hard to sleep at night because the air conditioning caused throat irritation and mucous build up. By the forth night we were offered another room but it was already our last night. The mosquitos on the resort were terrible. It was hard to enjoy the swim out because they were so abundant. Coming home I have almost 20 itch mosquito bites. I was offered a free upgrade for my future stay but I will never visit this resort again or recommend it so I will not need that. For the price and the room discomfort, it was very expensive and not worth the price.
