"Fabulous location just a short walk from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Room with few frills but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Loved the communal spaces (lobby, pool deck, gym, laundry, work spaces, luggage storage, video game nook, etc). Youthful vibe throughout. We were upgraded to room with a view and were given late checkout (4pm) which was hugely helpful with a very late flight out. Staff very kind and helpful.Would definitely stay here again. "

"Our stay at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai hotel was superb! Our room on the 28th floor had a perfect view of the Burj (tallest bldg) from the floor-to-ceiling glass wall… the city view was stunning, especially after sunset. Room was super clean and the staff was very conscientious with details… especially when they turn down the beds in the late afternoon… always a pleasant feeling to come back to our room after a long day of sight- seeing or walking in the hot sun. Another highlight was their breakfast… everything was delicious and fresh, especiallybtheir crepes and pastries. ! Also enjoyed their snack hour and happy hour that was included with our room selection. The hotel location can’t be beat if you plan to visit the Dubai Mall… the entrance to the mall is a just a short stroll down the sidewalk from the hotel’s main entrance! Very satisfied with our stay at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai! "

"Can't fault anything, very clean, staff are brilliant, food was great, big rooms, pool area was lovely, perfect laying out there in the evenings when still warm, lit up by the surrounding buildings. The main positive is the staff, they look after you so well, highly recommend this hotel."
