"My family stayed for a couple of nights with our toddler and baby. The house was very well stocked with essentials, including some things for young children. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The weather was unseasonably mild for November, so we were able to take full advantage of the nice backyard firepit and the expansive decks on the house. It is located in a quiet area with only minimal traffic which was nice. Much of the house has been updated, especially the kitchen. We especially liked the large dining room table. I've been in a number of houses on Beech, and this is one of the better updated ones on the market. I will say the spiral staircase could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns. These are somewhat common on the mountain, but something to consider when booking. Otherwise, the house should be a good fit for most families."

"The house was in an amazing location and there were plenty of attractions within a short drive of the house. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. The house was great for our large group with amazing features - a favorite of ours was the piano! We definitely recommend this house!"

"The little creekside cabin was perfect for a weekend family getaway. It's cozy and had everything we needed. The host is fantastic! The only slight drawback was the proximity to the Beech Mountain Parkway (it backs up to the Parkway), but there was very little traffic and there is a steep incline to help keep kids away from the road. Overall, a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it. "
