This hotel for the price was great. very clean well-kept for its age. good food and atmosphere. Takes you back in time imaging the people of years gone by. You have to take the time to enjoy the structure of a vintage building. This place is a classic.

Fantastic staff at check in. Bar staff is wonderful. Disappointed in the food itself as oven was broken so food was slow. Only one working elevator. Valet service was quick and friendly. Room was beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool was warm, nicely lit and clean. Stayed here many times, hands down my favorite spot in AC. This weekend seemed busy and I think they may have been understaffed but was still overall a wonderful stay with some minor inconveniences.

The room was great it was the elevator service you had to wait over 40 mins to an hour to get on the elevator. They had six elevators and three were working. Also my room was on the 20th floor and I was tired of waiting over almost an hour for an elevator so I took the stairs. First time staying and might be my last.

There was no cleaning of the rooms. No extra towels. There was roaches in the room. Also most of the night the elevators were not working. Ice machines was not working and the overnight staff at front desk was very un helpful. Will not recommend hotel to friends and or family. Will not return for future endeavors.

The elevator was broken and the hallway had a horrific smell. The bathroom is small, the sink leaked and the shower door wouldn't close. There's no ventilation in the bathroom at. The entrance from the parking garage is confusing and not convenient at all. I wouldn't highly recommended NOT to stay there. You would be better off paying a little more and stay in an updated modern hotel. Expedia, I would like a full refund for this horrible experience.

Stayed over last night and while the room was clean, it was dated. The bigger issues was the service. Saturday at 5 pm, there were only 2 people checking guests in, and we ended up waiting over a half an hour. Male desk agent wasn't friendly, but we could see the woman agent was. The bigger issue was that on Saturday, only 3 of the 5 elevators were working. Everyone was complaining, and it took almost 20 minutes to get an elevator up to our room. Took 10 to get one down when we went for dinner, and when we checked out Sunday, only 1 elevator was working. Took another 20 minutes to get down to leave. Don't understand how the management can operate a hotel with almost 500 rooms with so few elevators. Totally unacceptable, and we won't stay there again.

Room was clean staff where Pleasant and helpful the beach view from my room was stunning off the 7th floor the Rooftop Bar was unbelievably enjoyable and the restaurant needs a little more experience service very slow but other than that everything was Top Notch would definitely go there again

The Hotel itself was quite clean, as was the room. This was my second stay at The Claridge and YES I will be staying again. I love that there is a walkway right into the Casino next door. The area is very walkable, close to the boardwalk and area restaurants. added bonus it's just a few blocks away from the outlets Only down-side was the comfort of the mattress I had, which was quite hard and just unpleasant.
