Attractions and Tips
Dine at top of the Space Needle or take a spin on The Great Wheel, America's largest Ferris wheel. Wander through Pike Place Market, where you can purchase fresh fish and visit the very first Starbucks coffee shop, or try a smaller coffee establishment frequented by locals, such as Seattle Coffee Works or Storyville Coffee. Take the kids to Seattle Children's Museum or the Woodland Park Zoo. Little plane enthusiasts will also love the Museum of Flight. Go for Mexican food at Barrio, or indulge in fine dining at The Herbfarm, an esteemed American restaurant best suited for special occasions.
Weather ranges from the upper-40s in winter to the mid-70s in summer. Seattle is known for being very rainy, but this is somewhat of an urban legend. Pack an umbrella, but it should not be raining the entire you're there.
