Cheap flights from Kuala Lumpur to Los Angeles
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (kila) (KUL) is around 35 miles from the downtown area. The quickest way to get there is usually the Express Rail Link. Passengers board the train downtown and are on the airport property in less than 30 minutes. Typical flight times are just over 18 hours to Los Angeles International (LAX) Airport. The easiest way to get to the downtown area, as well as other parts of the San Fernando Valley, is to take the LAX FlyAway Bus. Taxis and shuttles are also available.
Attractions and Tips
Amusement parks like Universal Studios draw in visitors from around the world (you'll need to head south to Orange County for Disneyland). The Getty Center is a great place to experience the architecture of the area and see works of art by greats Monet and Van Gogh among others. Because you are so close to Hollywood, keep your eyes open for celebrities no matter where you go. It is possible to take tours of various homes in the area belonging to the stars.
It is usually warm in Los Angeles with temperatures remaining consistent throughout the year. June to October tend to be dry and hot. January and February tend to be rainy. Los Angeles County is spread out, so you're best bet for transportation is to rent a car; people drive in LA, so public transit options are more limited than in other large cities.
