Cheap flights from Seattle to Lima
More commonly referred to as Sea-Tac, Seattle–Tacoma International Airport one of the busiest airports in the United States. It serves over 31 million passengers every year. The airport is about 12 miles south of downtown Seattle and accessible via Interstate 5 S. You can also take the Link Light Rail, King County Metro Transit Bus or depend on a taxi. Travelers find flights usually last for about 10-and-a-half hours. Once you get to your destination, board a minibus, van or taxi outside the arrivals area.
Attractions and tips
Check out the Historic Centre of Lima, located in the Rimac Valley. Founded in 1535, it's the portion of Lima established by Francisco Pizarro. Also, visit the Torre Tagle Palace, situated in downtown Lima. A great example of Baroque Spanish architecture, this building is the location of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For something unexpected, go to the Museum of Italian Art. Run by the National Culture Institute, it's the only museum in Peru that features European art.
Miraflores and Barranco are just two popular areas for tourist accommodations. Although Lima is not known for rainy or severe weather, it's very foggy from June through December. The climate is hot and humid throughout the year, so be sure to pack lightweight, loose-fitting clothes. Because there is not a great deal of variation in weather patterns, you do not have to worry about choosing a ‘bad’ time to visit.
