Sports at Vivint Arena
When the NBA Utah Jazz decided they had outgrown the aging Salt Palace, plans were put in place to build a state-of-the-art arena. The venue opened in 1991, and the Jazz eagerly took to the court. In 1997 and 1998 the arena hosted the NBA Finals, though both years the Jazz fell to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. It has a reputation among NBA arenas for its deafening noise levels, creating both a challenge for visiting teams and a thrilling fan experience. In addition to being the home court of the Jazz, the Vivint Arena has hosted Winter Olympics events and NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament games.
Concerts at Vivint Arena
