Formation and Career

Whiskey Myers was formed in 2007 under the leadership of founding members Cody Cannon, Cody Tate, John Jeffers, Jeff Hogg, Tony Kent, and Jamey Gleaves. Dubbing themselves as a country rock band, they come from Palestine, Texas. In their early years, the band took inspiration from the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Hank Williams. Although the band has never reached mainstream success, they have garnered quite the fan base with their steady flow of albums being released. In 2008 the band released their debut album entitled Road of Life, and they have not slowed down since. Their most recent album was released in September of 2019, bringing their total album count to five. The band is currently signed under the label Wiggy Thump Records.

Concert in Your Car

Along with the Eli Young Band and Pat Green, Whiskey Myers will also be putting on performances for the “Concert in Your Car” series put on by Globe Life Field. Performing outside of the ballpark on June 5, 2020 for two performances, Whiskey Myers fans can sit in their cars in the parking lot listening to the band via an FM radio station.
