Wallows History is in Southern California

While the group members were teenagers growing up in Southern California, they enrolled in a music program in the area. They initially joined a group called Join the Band. At the time, the members were Braden Lemasters, Cole Preston, Dylan Minnette, and Zack Mendenhall. The group changed its name to Feaver and The Narwhals before they formed Wallows. The group released its first single, called “Pleaser,” under its current name in 2017. Of note, Mendenhall is no longer with the band, and Dylan Minnette enjoys a successful acting career, notably as a member of the "13 Reasons Why" cast. In 2018, the group signed a deal with Atlantic Records and released its EP, titled Spring. The debut studio album, Nothing Happens, was released in 2019. Another EP, titled Remote, was released in 2020.
