Born Michael Ray Stevenson in Compton, California, the young artist was immersed in the world of hip hop from an early age. Stevenson adopted the moniker Tyga, a backronym for Thank you God always. He has continued to release a steady stream of albums, mixtapes, and collaborations with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
