Zachary William Dess hails from the great Harlem, New York. Before creating Two Feet, Bill Dess was a jazz and blues musician, playing in local ensembles. Dess released his first EP, First Steps, on SoundCloud, which made a breakthrough with over 8 million plays. His music gained the attention of Majestic Casual of YouTube, giving him his deal with Republic Records. Dess mixes his breathy vocals with deep bass grooves and electronic flutters, making for an entirely new sound. 2017 marked a huge year for Two Feet. After releasing Momentum, he landed performances at festivals like SXSW, Lightning in a Bottle, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits. Dess was hospitalized at the beginning of 2018, after publicly announcing a suicide attempt. His following EP marks a new chapter in the musician's life. It contained some of Two Feet's most succesful songs, like "I Feel Like I'm Drowning" and "Hurt People".
