Growing Up

Hall grew up in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina surrounded by music thanks to his dad who was a drummer. He dabbled in different instruments including trombone and bass but decided to pursue playing the guitar hoping that one day he would become a singer-songwriter. At the age of 16 he recorded his debut album and soon after moved to Los Angeles to study guitar at Idyllwild Arts Academy. It was in his senior year that he was signed to Geffen Records, jumpstarting his career.

Music History

His album Chapter of the Forest which was out in 2014, debuted at No. 3 on the iTunes singer chart. Then KALA, released in 2015, (which was written in Hawaii and then recorded in L.A.) debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart. In 2018, Hall had his first completely independent release for the album The Fruitful Darkness. This was the top music campaign in 2017 on KickStarter, supported completely by his fans. It became the first music campaign of its kind and premiered at No. 4 on iTunes Alternative Charts.

2020 Tour

Beginning in April, Trevor Hall kicked off his tour alongside Brett Dennen in Stuart FL at the Terra Fermata. Along his tour he performed in Atlanta GA, Silver Spring MD, New Haven CT, Brooklyn NY, Portland ME, Cleveland OH, Chicago IL, St. Louis MO, and several other cities. He also made appearances at the One Love Cali Reggae Fest in February and at the California Roots Festival in May.
