Hip hop with a powerful positive message

Born in Fairfax, Toby McKeehan was destined to break out of small-town Virginia. While a student at Liberty University, Kevin adopted the name TobyMac and teamed up with Michael Tait and Kevin Max Smith to form DC Talk. They released their debut album in 1990 to wild success, one of the few Christian rock bands to receive mainstream recognition. DC Talk rocked the airwaves with singles like "Between You and Me," "Jesus Freak," and "Jesus Is Just Alright," enjoying the spotlight until they disbanded in 2001. Later that year TobyMac released his debut solo album, Momentum. TobyMac demonstrated his staying power with his success as a solo artist, his music featured in TV shows and commercials. He is well decorated, with Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and GMA Dove Awards, and several of his songs have hit number one on the Billboard Christian Songs chart.

TobyMac socially-distanced tour

Planned to kick off February 4th-6th at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, in Cedar Park, Texas, TobyMac also hit a series of venues in Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, and South Carolina, with the tour ending back in Texas at the Allen Event Center. This one-of-a-kind tour and a first of it's kind for a concert performing artist in 2020 going into 2021, played arenas that artists were otherwise avoiding due to safety concerns. The tour was designed to be the safest at the time, with it's social distancing areas for fans.

2022 Arena Tour

The start of 2022 was a big one for TobyMac. After spending a couple years in smaller venues at social distances concerts, the singer announced an arena tour starting is 2022. The tour kicked off in Arkansas and moved up and down the country stopping at major cities. TobyMac performed in Glendale, Ontario, Denver, and more places so fans had plenty of chances to hear him live. Special guests Crowder, Cochren & Co, Cain and Terrian join TobyMac for the arena tour. The tour eneded in April in Pittsburgh, a great way to end many months on the road.

"Hits Deep" Tour 2023

After his successful arena tour in 2022, TobyMac announced the dates for his 2023 tour called Hits Deep! Inventor of the Christan hip-hop will be travelling all around the country, starting at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola.
