Rise to Fame
The 1975 consists of members Matthew Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald and George Daniel. The four of them attended high school in the same town where they formed a band and started playing together in 2002. They played their music mostly at punk clubs under various names. Their current name was taken from a beat poetry book that had "1 June, The 1975" written on the inside cover. In 2013 they released their self-titled album, and before they had time to compete the full album, they were playing to sold-out shows.
The 1975 had their US debut at Coachella in 2014. They've captured audiences with their unique blend of electronic, punk, pop, and R&B in songs like, "Robbers," "Settle Down," "Heart Out," and "Chocolate." With an extensive touring schedule in Europe, The 1975 has limited shows on this side of the Atlantic. Don't wait to get your cheap The 1975 concert tickets or you may find the concert's sold out!
