Sigrid Tickets

Sigrid is a popular singer from Norway who has risen to fame gradually over the past couple of years. She has been playing since 2013 but gained popularity back in 2017. Two years ago, she released her first EP which was titled "Don't Kill My Vibe." As a result of this work, she won the BBC's Music Sound of 2018, skyrocketing her to fame. She also released a single titled "Strangers" which peaked at number 10 on the Singles Chart in the UK. Her debut album was released earlier this year and was titled Sucker Punch. When this album was released, it debuted at the top of the Albums Chart in the UK. She still lives in Norway but travels the world, having been signed to labels such as Island and Petroleum. A History of Sigrid

Sigrid was born in Norway and comes from a musical family. She started writing and playing at a young age; however, she also had aspirations to become a lawyer or a teacher because she didn't know if her career in music would be successful. She lists several inspirations such as Neil Young, Adele, and Joni Mitchell. During her teenage years, she started a band which was titled Sala, after her cat. She began her music career in earnest in 2013 when she released her debut single titled "Sun." This got her signed to Petroleum records the following year and the rest is history.
