Zombies take a playful look at how to handle living with people who are different than you, teaching acceptance and teamwork to overcome challenges. The town of Seabrook has been divided for a generation after a tragic accident transformed part of the population into zombies. For decades the zombies have been kept away from the humans by a wall, but when high school zombies start attending Seabrook High, everything is about to change. Seabrook High's social structure is rigid in its conformity, and cheerleader Addison is doing her best to fit in. But when she meets zombie Zed, the pair's attraction sends ripples through the entire community. Addison, Zed, and their friends work together to fight misconceptions against zombies and promote acceptance no matter how different a person might be.
Taking place at the Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, this kick-off to the annual Splatterday III tradition will involve the whole audience with a pre-show costume parade. Put on your most ghoulish or glamorous outfit and get in on the march!
