Born in Los Angeles, David Crosby was taught to play the guitar by his brother. After dropping out of college, David Crosby headed to New York City to join the local music scene there. Later that year Neil Young joined the band, and they released the smash hit album Déjà Vu. Crosby continued to work with Nash for several years, as well as other superstar musicians. David Crosby is one of the few artists to have two spots in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
